Magnetic jigsaw puzzles with stories and animals

The magnetic puzzles cover almost every favourite theme: a pirate ship, a knight and castle, Red Riding Hood, a funfair, forest owls, an ocean whale, a savannah safari, a jungle scene and a Peru llama. Depending on the model they are suitable from 1 year or from 18 months, with pieces large enough to grip, turn and slide until the edges match.

Trains that connect and sort shapes

The pull-along stacking shape train (1+), the large shape-sorting train set and the natural cargo train with inset wagons (both 2+) combine two jobs: linking the wagons together, then filling each one with the right shapes. Once everything is in place, your child has a toy to pull across the room.

From the first animal puzzle to the bigger trains

Around 1 year, begin with the first animal puzzle or the pull-along train: few pieces and one clear gesture. From 18 months, the 12 geometric shapes inset puzzle and the magnetic jigsaws ask for more turning and matching. From 2 years, the bigger trains bring sorting into the game, a natural step towards the stacking and building sets among our wooden Montessori toys.

Hand over only half the pieces at first, so the puzzle is finished before patience runs out, then offer the rest the next day.
