Wooden Guiro Percussion Instrument
Of all the percussion instruments, guiro rasps make a lovely first choice for children aged 3 and up. Your child holds the hollow body in one hand and draws the scraper stick down the ridges: a slow stroke gives separate clicks, a quick one a rolling rasp. At 16.5 cm and 50 g, it sits comfortably in a small hand.
