Rhythm, Energy & Bilateral Motor Coordination
Few instruments offer the immediate, joyous energy of a drum. Drumming provides an exceptional outlet for energetic toddlers, transforming rhythmic enthusiasm into precise motor coordination and auditory focus.
Key Developmental Benefits
- Bilateral Arm Coordination: Alternating strikes with left and right drumsticks stimulates cross-body neural connections.
- Understanding Dynamics: Toddlers discover how tapping softly produces gentle taps while striking firmly creates bold, booming beats.
- Gross Motor Balance: Wearing the drum on its shoulder strap while marching helps develop balance, cadence, and core posture.
Craftsmanship & Specifications
- Material: Natural wood shell with durable acoustic drumheads, decorated with vibrant non-toxic water colours.
- Includes: 1 drum, 1 adjustable woven neck strap, and 2 solid wooden drumsticks.
- Recommended Age: Suitable for children from 2 years old.
